Audio Controls

You can skip ahead and backwards by intervals between 2 and 10 seconds.
You can also slow down and speed up the audio.

Each segment has a play button so you can start the audio at that specific time.
If you choose “Individual segment”, the audio will stop once you’ve finished listening to a segment.
If you choose “Auto-play next segment”, the audio will continue past the segment.
Action Buttons

There are four action buttons on the editor.
Preview: Shows PDF preview of what the final transcript will look like
Reset: Reverses all changes made to transcript and reverts back to original
Auto-Capitalize: Capitalizes first letter of each sentence
Finalize: Sets transcript as Finalized where no further changes can be made
Speakers

Click on a segment speaker to change the speaker for a segment.
You can also add and edit the name of a speaker from the same dropdown.
There is also an option to filter out speakers by name, this could be helpful if the speaker list becomes long.
Editing Timestamps

Click on the timestamp to edit it. You will be able to change the start and/or end time.
Find and Replace

Find and replace works for one word at a time.
If you click the case-sensitive symbol your find will be case sensitive. Otherwise, “Hello” and “hello” will both be found, and replaced if chosen, by typing “hello”.
Replace All will replace all instances of the word.
Shortcuts

There are 5 keyboard shortcuts that can be used.
Replace selected text/word with {Inaudible}: Alt + 2
Assign Speaker: Alt + 3
Merge Up: Alt + 4
Merge Down: Alt + 5
Split into new segment: Enter
